Durham Hosts Phase II Public Meeting for Revere Road Resurfacing Project



 

What:              Revere Road Reconstruction and Resurfacing Project
Phase II Public Information Meeting

Fast Facts:

*         Phase II of the Revere Road Reconstruction and Resurfacing
Project will include repaving and reconstruction of Revere Road from
Clermont Road to Sedwick Drive.

 

*         City engineers will give a presentation that outlines
construction details, project timelines, and detour information as well
as answer questions and receive comments from residents and motorists
about the project. 

 

*         The project is being funded with 2010 repaving bond funds and
is estimated to cost $1.3 million.

 

*         Revere Road reopened in May after City contractors completed
reconstruction and repaving from N.C. Highway 54 to Clermont Road.

 

*         In addition to repaving, several sections of the roadway have
been completely reconstructed, including replacement of approximately
9,000 feet of curb and many driveway connections on Revere Road.
