Dear Mr. Ragin:

Joshua has expended a lot of energy in addressing this matter, so in noticing that his email clearly had a sense of defeat and last-ditch curiosity within it, I made the conscious decision to reply in a hopeful and positive reaching tone.

This surely beats the antagonistic, and accusatory rhetoric which has dominated this list serv over the past few days.

If you misinterpreted my tone, or intent, I understand.

Furthermore, if you care to address my intent, tone, or anything else associated with my response, I'd encourage you to contact me directly, instead of potentially inciting inflammatory responses to an email which the average reader should discern, was trying to encourage a fellow citizen.

My cell is: 919-949-5663

Have a good evening,

Darius Little

Darius - perhaps you could explain to me why knowing that this amendment
is specifically written to turn a group of North Carolinians into second
class citizens should make any of us "feel better."

Thanks,
Barry Ragin
