The County Commissioners have a resolution on Monday night's agenda to
designate use of the 1/4 sales tax for educational purposes, with
specific percentages assigned to different uses.
They are doing this less promptly than the Orange County Commissioners
(who did so in late Spring, at the same time that they formally
declined to hold a transit referendum), but still in good time for the
November 8 election.
If you would like to thank Commissioners for this, I recommend
starting with Ellen Reckhow.
The resolution, along with the County Manager's brief discussion, is
attached (a small PDF file).
