Is there a reason why this person didn't join the listserv?
It seems to me that the problem is solved if you simply request someone join the list in order to post. Less work for you this way.

Subject: [Durham INC] What Should Be on the INC Listserv?
Hello Folks,
I'm now one of the administrators for the INC listserv. I received a request to approve an email from a non-member about the Common Ground Theater. I approved it, and I also thought that this is a good time to raise an issue: is this the sort of thing you want to receive on the INC listserv?
If you have any strong opinions about this, one way or the other, please let me know. What are particularly welcome are guidelines that the administrators and listserv members could follow about what is appropriate and what is not. Thanks.
John
