[Durham INC] African American Historic Sites Community Visioning Meeting

Dear Community Member,

Preservation Durham has been engaged in documenting and creating a plan for
the management and preservation of historically significant African
American sites in Durham County.  We would like to invite you to join a
community meeting with interactive discussions to help identify additional
African American historic resources in Durham County and to envision how
these resources can be utilized and interpreted *to *educate the entire
community about the African American experience in Durham.

You may join Preservation Durham on one or both of our special meeting
times.  Your participation is key in helping to determine what you as a
community deem important to African American history in Durham, what sites
have been overlooked and how to strengthen efforts to preserve
or recognize places important to Durham's diverse heritage.
