[THEATRE]

Victoria Tucci Presents: Romeo & Juliet

Featuring two women as the ill-fated star-crossed lovers, this
gender-bending new production comes as a direct response to North Carolina
Amendment SB514 or "Proposition One." Stating "marriage between one man and
one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized
in this state," this proposed bill will ban same-gender marriage, prohibit
civil unions, and strip domestic partner benefits, among other harms. The
show will serve as an advocacy and education campaign against "Proposition
One" by offering post-show talk-backs with the New York cast and illuminate
the message of equality through Shakespeare's text.

March 14, 15, 16 & 17 at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets: Sliding Scale Starting at $5.00

Reservations: (919) 213-1049
