[Durham INC] DTV8 Debuts New "CityLife" Tonight

New "CityLife" Airing Tonight on DTV8

 

For the next 18 months, motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists will need
to be on their toes to navigate through some major construction projects
affecting West Main Street near Duke University's East Campus. These
three projects - one by the City of Durham and the other two by the
North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) - will ultimately
improve both our water distribution system and the Campus Drive bridge
under this major roadway.

 

This month, "CityLife" Host Beverly B. Thompson is joined by City Water
Management Department Civil Engineer Jim Harding to discuss the City's
waterline replacement project and NCDOT Division Construction Engineer
Dennis Jernigan to explain the West Main Street bridge replacement and
resurfacing project.

 

"CityLife" also chats with City Transportation Department Director Mark
Ahrendsen to take a closer look at the impact to the area surrounding
this project and how you can keep up-to-date on these major construction
projects and their progress.
