The North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association (NCAPA) is taking nominations for the (NCAPA website) "Great Main Street anywhere in North Carolina. Just click here<http://ncgreatplaces.upickem.net/> to submit two photos of a main street and a statement of up to 100 words on what makes it great! NCAPA experts will select two finalists each from the mountains, Piedmont, and coast. All nominations must be received by 5 PM on March 30th, 2012. The finalists will be posted by April 11th, 2012.  Come back to the site to vote for your favorite place. The finalist with the most votes on April 30th, 2012 will be recognized as the People's Choice!"
