[Durham INC] Parks and Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee

Hi Everyone,
I am attaching information on the City of Durham's Parks and Recreation Department Master Plan Steering Committee.  Basically this Steering Committee will help the Department draw up a master plan that will then play a large part in determining Parks and Recreation priorities for the next decade or so.  
They are looking for 12-15 people from diverse backgrounds and different parts of Durham. The application process is very simple.
Councilman Mike Woodard suggested at the INC meeting last night that INC endorse a candidate or candidates for the Steering Committee.  I think that is a great idea.  
If you are interested, please follow the instructions to apply, and if you would like INC endorsement, email me or the INC list after you apply.  We can then consider names at our June meeting.
