Durham Inducts New Youth Commission Monday

Welcome Reception for 30 New Members Set for 5:45 p.m.

 

What:              Induction Ceremony for 2012-2013 Durham Youth
Commission

 

Who:               Durham City Council and the City's Office on Youth, a
division of the City Manager's Office

 

When:             Monday, September 17, 2012, at 7 p.m.

* Welcome reception will be held at 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of City Hall

Fast Facts

*         Thirty Durham youth who want a voice in their City government
will soon begin serving their one-year terms on the 2012-2013 Durham
Youth Commission after Monday's Induction Ceremony.  

 

*         A welcome reception for the new members will from 5:45 p.m. to
6:45 p.m. in the lobby of City Hall, followed by the Induction Ceremony
during the regular City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.
