Durham County Library Hosts the Graedons of The People's Pharmacy

Program:             A Conversation with The People's Pharmacy

Cost:                      Free and open to the public
About: Joe and Terry Graedon of The People's Pharmacy will visit Durham County Library to discuss their newest book, Top Screwups Doctors Make and How to Avoid Them. With this book, the Graedons seek to empower individuals with the ability to make "informed decisions about their health." The program takes place on Saturday, September 22, 1 p.m. at the Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Rd. A question and answer session will follow.
The Graedons are credited with being among America's "most trusted health-care authorities." They have sold millions of copies of their books internationally, including bestseller The People's Guide to Deadly Drug Interactions. In addition, their weekly newspaper columns and radio talk shows reach audiences in more than 134 countries. Frequently, the Graedons have made guest appearances on various television news and information programs to discuss issues relating to drugs, herbs, home remedies, vitamins and related health topics. Appearances include public television, "Dateline NBC," "20/20," "Extra," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Good Morning America," "CBS Morning News," "Today" and "NBC Evening News."
