Applicants Sought for Durham City Council Ward 3 Vacancy 

 

DURHAM, N.C. - The Durham City Council is accepting applications from
interested citizens living within the boundaries of Ward 3 to fill the
unexpired term created by the recent resignation of City Council Member
J. Michael Woodard. The term expires in November 2013.  

 

Candidates for the position:

*         Must be at least 21 years of age

*         Must live within the corporate city limits 

*         Must reside within the boundaries of Ward 3

*         Must be a registered voter in Durham County

*         City and County taxes must be current at the time of
submission of the application

 

Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office, located on
the second floor of City Hall, 101 City Hall Plaza, from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m., Monday through Friday.               

 

Applications must be received in the City Clerk's Office by noon on
Friday, November 30, 2012.
