The Ariadne Charity Masked Ball
To Benefit PORCH-Durham 
Hosted by The Scrap Exchange

Friday, February 1st // 7-10 pm
Music * Dancing * Refreshments * Craft Space * Prize Contest * Fun!

Theme: The Mystik Number Three (for Durham’s 3rd MG Celebration)

Come join us for this fun family-friendly event in the Mardi Gras spirit to
benefit local charity PORCH-Durham, as they kick off their third successful
year bringing food to the schoolchildren, families and elders of the Bull
City. 

Ariadne Krewe, in its guise as Social Aid & Pleasure Club, is partnering
with Durham icon The Scrap Exchange to bring you a fun evening of masked
musical merriment! Enjoy wine, local beer and refreshments, dance and mingle
to a Mardi Gras musical groove; create or embellish your mask or festive
attire in the Scrap’s Make & Take room; enter the ‘best masque/ensemble’
contest; or have a whack at the Mardi Gras “Piñata” to release its treats! 

Costume encouraged, but not required for folks to come & have a great time.
BYO (potluck, beverages) also welcome, but not required. (how Durham is
that. :)

BONUS: Donate 3 items to PORCH-Durham to receive a local-made commemorative
Doubloon from Krewe of Ariadne (while supplies last).

Call for volunteers: we would love a few folks to join us to help out with
the event (door/donations, refreshments, decorate, clean-up) and/or join the
Krewe. Free admission, special souvenirs & opportunity to win your place as
