CALL FOR ARTIST, PERFORMER, NONPROFIT, FOOD VENDOR & CREATIVE COMMUNITY APPLICATIONS

In 2013, the Durham Arts Council celebrates the 39th Annual CenterFest Arts Festival. CenterFest is the longest running juried outdoor arts festival in North Carolina and the largest arts and community festival in Durham. CenterFest showcases over 190 juried visual and performing artists from across the country and provides visitors with great food, diverse entertainment, and educational activities for families.
The 2013 CenterFest will be located in the Downtown Durham City Center, including Morris, Main, and Chapel Hill Streets, Five Points and CCB Plaza. The site configuration will reflect downtown's many exciting new retail, restaurant, streetscape and public spaces and maximize the festival goers' enjoyment of the visual and performing arts and festival offerings as well as downtown amenities.

Easy load in/load out
Strong media partnerships and promotions throughout the Triangle region

ARTIST APPLICATIONS DUE MAY 31
PERFORMER APPLICATIONS DUE JUNE 21
CREATIVE COMMUNITY APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 12

NONPROFIT BOOTH APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 19

FOOD VENDOR APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 20
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION OPEN SOON!

												The CenterFest Visual Artist Application is now available through the Zapplication website: www.zapplication.org.

New and Returning artists who wish to participate in CenterFest 2013 must submit an application on-line with images and application fee. 
Convenient on-line payment and image upload. Application fee due with application. Booth fee due when accepted.

 CenterFest will showcase the Triangle's creative community! All businesses who are creative but do not fall into the traditional fine art or performing categories are invited to apply. From architects, to fashion designers, to robotic engineers, we want you to apply!
Creative Community Applications are due July 12th.

Durham's vibrant nonprofit and civic organizations are showcased at CenterFest and benefit from our 25,000 visitors! Arts and cultural organizations, schools, churches, social service nonprofits, plus a variety of government services departments are eligible. 

Nonprofit, Civic, Government Services, and Political Party Applications are due July 19th.

CenterFest needs over 300 volunteers to help make the festival possible. There are many different volunteer positions, time slots, and ways to get involved.  Volunteer application available soon!
