Durham Hosts Downtown Open Space Plan Open House

 

What:              Open House for the Draft Recommendations to the
First-Ever Downtown Durham Open Space Plan

 

Who:               Durham City/County Planning Department

 

When:             Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Where:            The Temple Building

                        302 W. Main St.

                        Durham, N.C. 27701

 

Fast Facts:

*         Since 2010, the Durham City-County Planning Department has
been creating the first-ever Downtown Open Space Plan to address the
open space needs in downtown Durham. 

 

*         Next week's open house will be the fourth public meeting to
review the draft recommendations for downtown open space. These
recommendations include proposed new open space sites, improvements to
existing parks and plazas, and policy recommendations for large, private
development's open space requirements.
