Durham Closing North Roxboro Street on Saturday
Temporary Closure Needed For Large Tree Removal; Detours Will Be In Place

DURHAM, N.C. - On Saturday, August 17, City of Durham crews will temporarily close portions of North Roxboro Street and Markham Avenue between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in order to remove a large tree at the North Roxboro Street and East Markham Avenue intersection.

North Roxboro Street will be closed in the southbound direction at East Knox Street and Markham Avenue will be closed in both directions between North Mangum Street and North Roxboro Street. Signed detours will be in place for both roadways throughout the closure. In the event of rain on Saturday, the closure will be moved to Sunday, August. 18.
