Mead #11998
Saturday the 7th from 5p.m.-7p.m.
Come enjoy an evening of mead making and tasting. The owners of Starrlight Mead will be teaching this class.

Cheese Making at Forest Hills Clubhouse #11938
Sunday the 8th from 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Join the owner and farmer of Bull City Farm,  Samantha Gasson, as she teaches about all the different bacteria, molds and coagulants to choose from as you are making cheeses. This class is designed for the kitchen cheese maker. We'll  demystify the whole process and make a few one-day cheeses. You'll go home with the skills and knowledge necessary to start.

Join our very own, NC Tomato Man, Craig LeHoullier, as he reflects on the summer garden.  Learn about some seed        saving techniques, how to preserve your garden extras  and where to go from here.

Bee Keeping: Preparing for Winter #12000
Sunday the 15th from 1 p.m.- 3p.m.
The relationship between bees and mankind is one of the longest in our history.  Join Donna Devanney, The Bee Charmer,  as we take a hands on look at the bee hives at West Point Park and talk about things that you should know as you get your hives ready for winter.

Spinning Mohair Yarn #11942
Saturday the 28th from 1 p.m.- 4p.m.
Try your hand on some beautifully -prepared, ready-to-spin, luscious mohair-wool blends from dyed locks to blended.  Whether it's your first time spinning or just something unique to try, you will enjoy adding this special yarn to your     projects.  The mohair is raised at the instructor's Blue Bird Meadow Fiber Farm in Durham.  Participants can visit the farm as a follow up.
