Forum for Candidates for Mayor and City Council in Durham

 

The Durham County League of Women Voters and the  InterNeighborhood Council of Durham are co-sponsoring a Forum for candidates for Mayor of Durham and those City Council candidates who have opponents in the November general election.  The Forum will be held from 7:00 to 8:45 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 101 City Hall Plaza in downtown Durham.  The Forum is open to the public and free of charge.  Doors open at 6:30 pm.

 

The Forum will provide an opportunity for the candidates to present their views on issues facing Durham. 

 

Durham citizens are encouraged to attend, submit their questions, and participate in this important election.  Those who are unable to attend can view the Forum live on Durham’s OWN Television, DTV8​, Time Warner Cable. Closed captioning will be provided courtesy of the Durham Chamber of Commerce.

 

The League of Women Voters and the InterNeighborhood Council are nonpartisan organizations that do not endorse, oppose, or support candidates or political parties.
