Re: [Durham INC] State Law on New Home Inspections:

Hello Deb,

I followed the link provided. Article says changes in law to prevent "local
building code departments from requiring any inspections not authorized
under the state building code.' This does not strike me as particularly
dangerous for consumers. Building code is rather extensive. Before
commenting further, I would want additional information. What sort of
things, outside of what is authorize already by building code, do some
municipalities try to inspect now?
