  POLITICAL SIGN ROUNDUP AND CELEBRATION

  Saturday, November 23, 11 am - 1 pm

  Durham Athletic Park Parking Lot (corner of Corporation and Morris Streets)

   

  Come celebrate Durham's 2013 Kids Voting City Council and Mayor Elections this Saturday, November 23, in the parking lot of the Durham Athletic Park with cake and an opportunity to help keep Durham free from post-election clutter.

   

  In addition to cake and activities for kids and adults, each young person who brings in at least one 2013 City Council or Mayor campaign sign from public property to be recycled or re-purposed will be entered into a drawing for a $100 prize.  Students 18 and under will be given an additional entry in the drawing for each 5 signs they bring in over the first five.  (Signs may only be removed from public right of ways and not from homes or private property.)

   

  In addition to toasting the over 6,000 students who voted in this year's Kids Voting Durham Elections and certifying the Election results, founding Kids Voting Durham Advisory Board Member Jim Reingruber will be honored for his fundamental role in growing and strengthening Kids Voting Durham over the last seven years.
