Durham Offers Building Permit Process Seminar
Free FY14-15 Seminar Series Designed to Support Small Business Growth

Fast Facts:
*         This free seminar, conducted by Durham City-County Inspections Department Plans Examiner Calvin Jones, will discuss the responsibilities of the department including conducting inspections of building projects in progress, reviewing permits for construction activity, and issuing Certificates of Compliance.
o   An overview of the permit process, the requirements for obtaining building permits, and the impact of compliance issues on construction completion schedules will be presented. Additionally, any new requirements and processes will be discussed. Time will also be allotted for questions and comments to help seminar participants gain valuable information that may help them expedite the building and renovation process.
