Aquatic Facilities Master Plan
The City is moving forward with mapping out the future of its aquatic facilities. Approximately $115,000 will be spent on the development of a comprehensive master plan<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2016/cma20160620/11176_MEMO_AQUATICS_MASTER_PLAN_CONT_390064_698304.PDF> to guide future development for city-owned pools and spraygrounds.

Durham Central Park Waterline Replacement Project
The groundwork is being laid now with nearby residents and business owners for the Durham Central Park Waterline Replacement project<http://durhamnc.gov/1251/Durham-Central-Park-Waterline-Replacemen>. City staff met with area stakeholders on June 28 to share more details about the project.

Programs to Provide Job Training, Support to At-Risk Youth
Community Partnerships<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2016/cma20160620/11173_MEMO_CONTRACT_WITH_CPI_390053_698883.PDF> and the Achievement Academy of Durham<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2016/cma20160620/11174_MEMO_CONTRACT_WITH_AAD_JULY_1_390057_698881.PDF> will receive funding to continue their job training, support, and other services for Durham's at-risk youth.

Young People from Low-Income Families Get Real-World Work Experience
Up to 50 of Durham's young people from low-income families are getting real-world work experience this summer thanks to a grant<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2016/cws20160620/11177_MEMO_INTERLOCAL_AGREEMENT_WITH_390068_698859.PDF> from Durham Public Schools and the YouthWork Internship Program.
