City to Use Public Feedback to Help Shape Aquatics Facilities Master Plan
Public feedback gathered during a recent open house will now be used to help shape the future of the City's pools and spraygrounds. The open house, held on August 25, let participants offer input on the Aquatics Facilities Master Plan<http://durhamnc.gov/2933/Aquatics-Facilities-Master-Plan>. The consultants for the plan will use the feedback gathered to develop recommendations and a final report.

Public Input Considered for West Club Boulevard Restriping Plan
Public input is being considered for the West Club Boulevard Restriping Plan<http://durhamnc.gov/2929/West-Club-Boulevard-Restriping-Project>. A public meeting was held August 17 so residents could hear about the plan and offer feedback. If the City decides to move ahead with the project, bicycle lanes will be added on West Club Boulevard between Hillandale Road and Broad Street.

Landscaping & Beautification Project Completed Along North Mangum Street
People walking and driving along North Mangum Street are now enjoying the final phase of enhancements in a multi-year landscaping and beautification project. The first two phases included a walkway, pergola, and landscaping on Parrish and Mangum streets as well as on Black Wall Street Plaza. The third phase connects East Chapel Hill Street with a paver walkway, enhanced landscape, and benches along the way.

Field Crews Working in Eno River Watershed
Residents in the Eno River watershed may be seeing field crews working in their neighborhoods. Field work is being conducted near Cole Mill and Old Oxford roads to assess the health of the watershed as part of the Eno River Watershed Improvement Plan<http://durhamnc.gov/2890/Eno-River-Watershed-Improvement-Plan>. The final plan will outline projects to improve water quality in the Eno River. Field workers can be identified through their safety vests and credentials.
