[Durham INC] Durham Public School District survey

Hello Durham neighbors. Please take 5 minutes to fill out the DPS survey below and make a case for experiential, hands-on education for our kids, particularly where horticulture, agriculture, environmental science and other sciences are concerned. It is a travesty that DPS students learn most of these subjects (which are hands-on by nature) from behind their desks in walled-off classrooms. There is a push to change this (for instance, the BETC (pronounced Betsy)) program and the Hub farm, but it is very slow going and teachers need admin to provide them with the instruction and motivation to partake in outdoor, hands-on instruction on their school campuses.
