Central Park Waterline Replacement Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

February 22, 2018

Please note - our contractor has received a Noise Exception Permit to allow work on Sundays from 9AM to 7PM.  The contractor is planning on working these hours, weather permitting.  The City appreciates your ongoing patience with the work along the busy corridors associated with the Central Park Waterline Replacement Project. Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:

  *   Week of 2/26:
     *   Roney Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Central Park.
     *   Foster Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Seminary Avenue during work hours.
     *   Intersection of Foster Street & Hunt Street will be closed during work hours.


  *   Week of 3/5:
     *   Roney Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Central Park.
     *   Foster Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Seminary Avenue during work hours.
     *   Intersection of Foster Street & Hunt Street will be closed during work hours.

Week of February 26, 2018:

  *   Roney Street will be closed as sanitary sewer line installation continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

  *   Foster Street between Corporation Street and Seminary Avenue will be closed as water line installation continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

  *   Periodic one-lane interruptions will occur on Corporation Street between Foster Street and North Duke Street as water services are connected to the new water line.

     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   Residents and business owners will be contacted in advance of any service disruptions.

Saturday - Sunday March 3-4, 2018:

  *   Roney Street will be closed as sanitary sewer line installation continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.

     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
