Please be advised of the upcoming Durham Planning Commission public hearing for the following text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance:

TC1800007- Expanding Housing Choices: Amendments modifying standards in Article 5, Use Regulations; Article 6, District Intensity Standards; Article 7, Design Standards, and other associated sections of the UDO regarding accessory dwelling units, residential infill, housing type allowances and associated dimensional and density requirements, flag lots, and other associated provisions and definitions.

The Durham Planning Commission will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are located in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor. Interested parties may appear and speak at the public hearing. Substantial changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing.
