Central Park Waterline Replacement Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

September 26, 2019

The City appreciates your ongoing patience with the work along the busy corridors associated with the Central Park Waterline Replacement Project. Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:


  *   Week of 9/30:
     *   Madison Avenue will be closed between Corporation Street and Northwood Circle.*
     *   Northwood Circle will be closed between Madison Avenue and North Street.*
(*Note that work will not occur on Madison Avenue and Northwood Circle at the same time)


  *   Week of 10/7:
     *   Madison Avenue will be closed between Corporation Street and Northwood Circle.*
     *   Northwood Circle will be closed between Madison Avenue and North Street.*
(*Note that work will not occur on Madison Avenue and Northwood Circle at the same time)

     *   Broadway Street between Rigsbee and Mangum, Madison Avenue between Corporation and Northwood, Northwood Street between Madison and North, and North Street between Corporation and Broadway may be closed temporarily for repaving as equipment becomes available.



Week of September 30, 2019:


  *    Madison Avenue will be closed as storm water work continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   Residents and business owners will be contacted in advance of any service disruptions.

  *   Northwood Circle will be closed as storm water work continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   Residents and business owners will be contacted in advance of any service disruptions.


Saturday - Sunday: October 5-6, 2019:

     *   No work is scheduled for this weekend.


Week of October 7, 2019:
