[Durham INC] (no subject)

I know NIS works very hard. I also am acquainted with the dedicated work of
a number of other City employees in other City departments (police, storm
water and sewer).

Unfortunately, some property owners are regularly in violation of City
Codes. Perhaps they have the money and the social or political connections
to enable this. Certainly, Durham has many more ugly housing examples like
this.

I live in this neighborhood and see this property all the time. I see the
City has a new program to try and reach out to citizens less able have
their voices heard on issues like crime and adequate housing. I applaud
this and hope it takes hold.
