After national level last night, reminder re: LOCAL candidate forum 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Durham city hall for council seats (voting now through Nov 2!) with your Interneighborhood Council Hosting.

-------------------------------

How will YOU vote and which council hopefuls align most with your goals and positions on critical Bull City issues and Durham's future? The <https://www.facebook.com/InterNeighborhoodCouncilDurham/> InterNeighborhood Council of Durham again hosted its popular candidates' forum,

on October 17th (last Thursday) from 18:30 to 20:30, at the City Council Chambers. This debate involved those candidates for City Council who are finalists from the primary of October 8th.

The Forum media coverage was extensive. It is now available on the City’s YouTube channel (see links above).

Candidates had the opportunity to face other contenders and were able make their respective case to a broad audience. The election of November 5th will elect three members out of six to the City Council. Significant decisions have been taken in Durham on votes split 4/3. During the Forum, two of those decision makers were available to answer questions.

The audience also suggested questions at a desk available at the entrance of the Chambers.
