The first day for Early Voting in NC is Thursday, October 15. Here are
some helpful tips to help flatten the voter curve and avoid waiting in line
during the 17 days of Early Voting.

1. Avoid the rush and waiting of first day excitement and the
procrastinator's last few days. Vote on one of the other 13 days - the
earlier the better.

2. Avoid peak hours of 10-5. (Except on the first day and last few days -
lines all day then.) Early voting locations are open 8 am to 7:30 pm Monday
through Saturday. (except for the last Saturday, 10/31 - but you're already
avoiding that, right?) You have plenty of time early and late in the day to
vote. We have 2 Sundays 2 - 7:30pm and they are also a great time to go
vote.

3. Check the very cool wait time chart our Board of Elections made for us
at:
https://www.dcovotes.com/voters/voting/early-voting It will be updated
regularly during Early Voting with current wait times in each location.

4. Try a new location - River Church in south Durham (4900 Prospectus
Drive), Mt. Sylvan United Methodist in north Durham (5731 N. Roxboro) and
Greater Emmanuel Temple of God in east Durham (2722 E. Main), have HUGE
rooms to hold lots of voters at a safe distance. We have 3 medium sized
locations in West Durham - see #3 to decide among them.

5. If you live in Durham County, you can vote at any Early Voting location
in Durham County. Maybe you'll vote near your work or near your grocery
store? You have 14 great choices. (You can also register and vote the same
day at any location and that is the final opportunity you have to register
for this election.)

6. Spread the word to flatten the voter curve! Share this with lots of
folks. Help Durham Vote!

Thanks for being a voter!
