[Durham INC] Durham Bike Rides this weekend and events for the rest of Bike Month

It looks like the weather is going to be gorgeous this weekend. Perfect for
getting outside. We hope that you'll join us on one of our upcoming rides

*Saturday, May 15, 9am - 11am   Wellness Ride (in-person group ride)*

Join doctor Naima Stennett and Shaun King from Bike Durham on a stop-along
ride through Durham, exploring 4 parks and 4 discussions about medical
health as it relates to biking safely and confidently, across a lifetime.
The ride starts at CCB Plaza. Participants will be entered to win a prize

Hosted at the Durham Bike Co-op at 1612 Acadia Street, we’ll talk about how
to get your bike ride ready and how you can make minor adjustments to
maximize comfortability on your bike. We’ll go over major components of the
bike and walk through the bicycle ABCs — air, brake, chain, cassette,

This will be an in-person ride, starting downtown at CCB Plaza and touring
the nature preserves of Durham with a member of Ellerbe Creek Watershed
Association (ECWA), who will give us information about the preserves at
each stop. Participants will be entered to win a prize such as a gift

This is a silent, slow-paced ride that we do every year in order to honor
those who have been seriously injured or killed while bicycling. The event
will start downtown at CCB Plaza with remarks by Mayor Steve Schewel and
