BOCC to Hold December 6th Work Session Virtually

Durham, N.C. - Due to the ongoing social distancing restrictions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) continue to hold meetings virtually. The next Work Session to be held this way is on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 9 a.m. This is the final scheduled Work Session for 2021.

The virtual option aligns with social distancing requirements which ensure the safety of citizens who wish to participate as well as Board members and Durham County Government staff. Anyone who wishes to view the BOCC meeting can watch live on the County's website<https://www.dconc.gov/county-departments/departments-a-e/board-of-commissioners/commissioner-meetings-and-announcements/bocc-agendas-video-library> or on the County's YouTube channel<http://www.youtube.com/dcowebmaster>.

During the meeting, the Commissioners will vote on the Chair and Vice Chair for the next year. Currently, Brenda Howerton is the Chair and Wendy Jacobs is the Vice Chair.

The next Regular Session for the Board will be on Monday, December 13 at 7 p.m. This is the final scheduled meeting of the BOCC for 2021.
