*Environmental Health Program Manager*

*Toxic Free Families Program*

Through trainings, communications, and community conversations on topics
like clean water, safer beauty, and forever chemicals, the *Toxic Free
Families Program Manager* helps families reduce exposures while building
power and participation in efforts for reform.  The ideal candidate will
have a deep understanding of health disparities and a commitment to serving
the communities most impacted by environmental injustice while promoting
solutions for our toxic-free future.

We’re looking for:

   - Training or experience in health education, science communication,
   environmental health, public health, or a related field.
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills—an ability to explain
   technical principles to any audience.
   - Training, organizing, or facilitation experience, with knowledge of
   popular education methods preferred.
   - Experience independently managing projects or programs with successful
   results.
   - Embodies Toxic Free NC’s mission and values, including a commitment to
   addressing systemic inequity.
   - Some digital and print communications skills, with proficiency in
   office software and social media.
   - Spanish language skills are a big plus!

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with paid vacation, holidays,
and health and dental benefits. The starting salary, commensurate with
experience and other factors, is $43,000-48,000 annually. The job is based
at our office in downtown Durham and requires occasional travel around the
Triangle and the state.
