Hi David,

Four metrics would be interesting to know: the average selling price of the new units, the average number of square feet of each new unit, the net number of new units, and the net increase/decrease in the number of multi-family units, especially duplexes. Are those knowable?

Best,
Christy

That dataset was curated by the city and even at the time was outdated. After some delay I finally figured out how to query the data myself, and can therefore provide some updated figures, along with correlations with demolitions and an interactive map.
> From Oct 2019 to mid-June, there were 244 permits issued that the city marked as being enabled by the EHC amendment. Of these, 150 were for new construction (the others were related to additions, alterations, and foundation work, for example).
> Of those 150 new construction permits, 66 were for existing parcels and 84 were new parcels (i.e., that had been subdivided from an existing parcel). Of the 66 existing parcels, 19 had a demolition permit approved sometime since 2018 associated with it; the other 47 did not. In the same time period city-wide I found a total of 378 demolition permits (among 333 unique parcels).
