Missed out getting to the fest so far? Last day of the festival at the
Carolina Theatre tomorrow features daytime documentaries about an iconic
feminist topical to women's bodily autonomy issues emerging this
summer...and a different icon in the exploration of the life of USA's
answer/own Terry Fox and his more unsung and dramatic athletic effort to
raise awareness & action for an earlier American epidemic. After activism &
calls to action, the festival closes with a trio of short film groupings
and closing night selection that's a quirky Waters-esque film about trans
community & family. Plus bowling! A great lineup of screenings with things
to amuse, inform & entertain across a wide range of interests & genres.

OutSouth, successor/scion of the NC Gay/Lesbian film fest, celebrates its
27th festival season with four days of terrific films and shorts Th - Sun.
