*        Our City-County Planning Department wants to provide a way for you to give feedback on growth management cases<https://durham.mysocialpinpoint.com/growthmanagement/land-use-home/> earlier in the process. Growth management cases include zoning map changes, annexation petitions, and future land use map changes.


*        The development of the final draft of our new Comprehensive Plan<https://cityordinances.durhamnc.gov/OnBaseAgendaOnline/Documents/ViewDocument/Final-Published%20Attachment%20-%2015606%20-%20PRESENTATION%20-%206%20-%20COMP%20PLAN%20UPDATE%20SLI.pdf?meetingId=541&documentType=Agenda&itemId=29367&publishId=130279&isSection=false> is nearing completion. The plan is a long-range vision for our community and decides what can be built where in Durham. We show you how to have a say in the final version.

*        We're excited to announce that our Food Waste Collection pilot program<https://www.durhamnc.gov/4625/Food-Waste-Collection-Pilot> is being expanded to include 500 more households. The goal is to collect food scraps from residents for composting in the most easy and efficient way possible. Learn more about this innovative pilot program.
