As you know, Durham is growing rapidly, including on its suburban
periphery. Frustratingly, much of this development has poor connectivity
and is not walkable. That's because this is allowed under the current
development rules.

Last summer, the Durham Planning Commission initiated a text amendment to
the development rules with the goal of making a more connected community.
We have started a petition to show support for this proposed change to the
development rules in Durham. Will you take a brief moment to add your name
to the petition

supporting requirements for greater access and walkability in new
developments?
SIGN THE PETITION

We'll be collecting signatures for a few more days before turning the
petition over to City staff and the Planning Commission. Please add your
name TODAY!

Be well,

John
