The Comprehensive plan for Durham is up for comments before it goes to
Council and the County boards.

It so important to be in the room or at the table. There are 3 upcoming
option within the next week. I am sharing as this group continues to stay
on top of the way decision are made for Durham regarding housing and
transit. Please attend one or all of these meetings even if only just to
listen and learn.

Regards

The members of the legislative delegation from Durham County have been
invited to discuss what legislative changes they will be trying to get
approved in this
session to increase Durham's capacity to promote affordable and quality
housing and
improve transit. The group will also be asked to identify any changes in
authority or
funding that will impact housing and transit for all local governments
in North Carolina
that are likely to be considered in this session. Then individual
legislators can report on
any changes they are promoting. Members of the audience will be given the
opportunity to propose any other changes by state government and get
reactions from
the delegation members about the prospects
