It seems to me that rescheduling this meeting so that all parties are available would be reasonable and prudent...why push through with just the Council? That hardly makes sense!

I just found out that it was bad scheduling. Leonardo called the meeting. Brenda’s assistant put it on the calendar but the Commissioners are in budget meetings that day so they cancelled. Stivers is not speaking. The Planning Department is not involved and doesn’t know who/ what is actually in the agenda. Sounds like a mess- like our entire annexation process.

Well, this is surprising. My personal impression of the trend is that if the annexations keep up at the current rate, there will not be a need for the County to have commissioners. You would think they would want to attend! Or maybe that is why they aren't attending?

This should be enlightening to say the least. The County Commissioners were supposed to be part of it but backed out. Sorry, I’m not in town to attend but will be interesting to see who they’ve lined up to speak- especially on things like supply and demand. Civilians don’t get to speak this one and I believe there’s only to be an audio recording. Still worth attending if you can.
