Dear Scenic North Carolina Supporters:

House Bill 198 would allow billboard companies to clearcut hundreds if not thousands of public trees along highway rights-of-way in North Carolina.

Native redbud trees, which are currently protected, can be cut down under HB 198 so billboards can be viewed..

The attached action alert asks you to contact Governor Cooper, legislators, and your local elected officials about HB 198..
