Hard Hat Home Tour 2008 in Trinity Park

1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Ticket price: $10
Tickets on sale in front of George Watts Montessori Magnet School 
(Watts St. & Urban Ave.)

Check out 11 recently renovated or renovation-in-progress homes. Some 
are former student rentals, bought by Duke in 2006 and resold. Others 
are just historic gems getting a new lease on life. A source book 
goes along with the tour, so you can find out which contractors and 
subcontractors did the work and what exactly went into each house 
transformation.

Book, Bake & Clothing Sale

What's for sale? Gently used kids' clothing (age 0-10), books, CDs 
and DVDs. Great deals and a fun, easy way to help out a neighborhood 
school. Homemade, baked goods and sweets will be overflowing, as well 
as bottled water and juice boxes, so if you're on the home tour, buy 
something to grab-and-go!

Special guest appearances by Wool E. Bull and a Durham Fire 
Department truck (including firemen)!

All proceeds go to the George Watts PTA.
