Proposed UDO Text Amendments

Please be advised of the upcoming proposed changes to the text of the
Durham Unified Development Ordinance (UDO):

Text Change TC07-17 proposes revisions to the following sections of the
Unified Development Ordinance:  Sec. 12.2.2, Other Forms of Access,
paragraph B.2.b., Private Driveways; Sec. 12.2.3, Acceptance by City of
Private Streets; Sec. 12.3.2, Street Names; Sec. 12.3.3, Street Signs and
Markers; and Sec. 13.5.1, Access.

The Durham County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on
June 9, 2008 at 7 PM in the Commissioner’s Chambers at 200 East Main
Street. The proposal may be viewed at the web site listed above.

Standards, specifically paragraph D, Compact Tier, Downtown Tier, and CBD
District.

The Durham County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on
June 9, 2008 at 7 PM in the Commissioner’s Chambers at 200 East Main
Street. The proposal may be viewed at the web site listed above.

and Sec. 16.3, Defined Terms [Stream, Intermittent and Stream, Perennial],
relating to stormwater.

The Durham County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on
June 9, 2008 at 7 PM in the Commissioner’s Chambers at 200 East Main
