The MCIC EHS School course development committee would like a little
feedback on the topics aligning as the top picks for the safety courses.
They are:

1. NFPA 70 (and recent 2009 changes)

2. OSHA Global Harmonization System of Classification and Labeling

3. "IH for the Non IH"; (weaving in any new developments in the
evaluation/control of occupational contaminants in the work environment)

4. "Combustible Dust" (OSHA and NFPA driven requirements and
establishing an effective program to deal with them)

5. "Intro to Control Banding and Nanotechnology" (the effect of
multiple contaminants, some w/o established TLVs for the workplace and
how limits for exposure should be established)

6. "The New OSHA-Changes in the Federal Administration and What is
Down the Road for NCOSHA" (Alan McNeeley).

They are not in any particular order. Would you please force rank them
as courses that either you would attend or send someone to attend? Also,
there may be enough time to create a course so if you really would like
to see another topic please describe one for us.

Also - the school is scheduled for August 23,24 - please make plans to
attend.

Thank-You!

Dick McDonald
