Hi all,

Since city ordinances have banned posting fliers on utility poles, the Old
North Durham Neighborhood Association is trying to find other ways to
advertise one of our big neighborhood events this year. Please help us
spread the word.

====================================

The Old North Durham Neighborhood Association cordially invites you to our
Fall Auction and Dessert Soiree, our major annual fundraiser. In addition
to helping to fund ONDNA events, newsletters, etc., a portion of the income
this year will go toward sponsoring a pillar in the soon-to-be brand new
Farmer's Market Pavilion.

* Friday November 4
* Free desserts and beverages starting 6:30pm; Silent auction starts 7pm to
be followed by live auction with John Parton, auctioneer extraordinaire.
*Calvary United Methodist Church, Downstairs, 304 E. Trinity (corner of
Trinity and Elizabeth, enter from Elizabeth)

Here's a preview of some of the items we'll have up for bid; there are some
surprises below. Can't make it to the auction, but really desire one of the
items? Let us know and we'll try to find you a proxy bidder who doesn't
have a conflict of interest (wouldn't want your proxy to outbid you...).
