Thank you to everyone who voted to appoint me as the INC delegate to
Durham's Census 2010 Complete Count Committee.

The Committee will work to make sure that the Census gets as accurate
of a count as possible by suggesting ways to both advertise the
upcoming census and the importance of completing each census form. The
numbers from the Census are tied to:

	1. The State's representation in the US House of Representatives.

	2. How much funding we receive from the Federal Government.

The more people the better!

Many people don't fill out the Census because of laziness, or because
they fear it infringes on their privacy. Unlike other branches of the
government the Census takes the surveys privacy very seriously. It is
also important to note that you do not need any Federal ID to fill out
the Census, because it is attached to an address and not to Social
Security numbers.

If you have any suggestions for how to ensure a complete count, or if
you have any questions about how the census works please feel free to
email me. I'm excited to be representing the INC and will look forward
to reporting back after the first committee meeting.
