Subject: Feb 9 DOST Trails Committee meeting to discuss Kelly Bryant Bridge

 
Durham Open Space Advocates!
 
Please join us at the next Durham Open Space and Trails 
(DOST) Trails Committee meeting, during which we will discuss the restoration 
and maintenance of trails leading to the new R. Kelly Bryant 
Bridge.
 
TUESDAY, February 9 at 7 PM.
TA Grady Recreation Center
531 Lakeland Street, Durham
 
In a few weeks, the R. Kelly Bryant Bridge will cross 
NC147, connecting two sides of the old Hayti community.  The Trails 
Committee of DOST has elevated the trails serving this bridge to a priority 
level and is reaching out to community groups in the area of the bridge to adopt 
these trails.
 
We urge anyone who is interested in working to restore and 
maintain these trails to attend the meeting on February 9th.  Please join 
us in creating a walkable community and to honor the accomplishments of Kelly 
Bryant!
