SAVE THE DATE for Preservation Durham's third Leadership Lecture and 
the debut of Places in Peril!

Preservation Durham is pleased to present Bill Schmickle, author of 
the Politics of Historic Districts: A Primer for Grassroots 
Preservation. Schmickle will speak about how to effectively advocate 
for preservation policies, organize on the neighborhood level, and 
master the political process.  These lessons apply not only to 
historic preservation issues, but to local politics and neighborhood 
advocacy on every front.

Preservation Durham is also excited to launch the Places in Peril 
list, highlighting important and endangered buildings, neighborhoods, 
and landscapes.  Protecting these imperiled sites is at the heart of 
Preservation Durham's mission; come and learn how you can save our 
community's heritage.

American Tobacco Campus, Bay 7.
