[Durham INC] Wednesday Farmers' Market opens this Week

Durham Farmers’ Market’s mid-week market starts this
Wednesday, May 5th!  The mid-week market
will be open every Wednesday from 3:30-6:30pm through the end of September.  Join us in the Pavilion at Durham Central
Park, 501 Foster Street.
 
This Wednesday, Muriel Williman, from Orange County Solid
Waste Management, will be conducting a composting demo from 4-5:30pm.
 Learn the basics or outdoor composting using manufactured or home-made
bins, and indoor composting using worms.
 
The Durham Farmers’ Market is an all local, producer only
farmers market.  You’ll find fresh fruits
and vegetables, meats, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, gluten free foods, honey,
and fine local crafts.  The Market offers
cooking demos, educational events and live music.  Also open Saturdays 8am to Noon.
 
FMNP WIC and Senior vouchers accepted.
