[Durham INC] Durham Farmers' Market's Wednesday Market OPENS tomorrow!

The Durham Farmers’ Market’s Wednesday Market will open for
it’s 5th season tomorrow, April 18th!  The Wednesday Market will be open
weekly from 3:30 to 6:30pm, now through the end of September. 
 
The Wednesday Market features a wide variety of vendors –
farmers, bakers and crafters - who offer fresh produce, fruits and flowers,
pasture raised meats and eggs, hand crafted, artisan cheeses, baked goods,
preserves, pastas and crafts!  This
year, we are excited to welcome four NEW Wednesday Market vendors – Chicken
Bridge Bakery, Farmer’s Daughter Pickles and Preserves, Farm 42 and Melina’s
Fresh Pasta.
 
Produce Now In Season: Strawberries, Asparagus, Broccoli,
Greenhouse Grown Tomatoes, Green Garlic, Green Onions, Beets, Carrots,
Radishes, Lettuces, Kale, Collards, Swiss Chard, Spinach, Bok Choy and much
more!
 
This Wednesday, Anne Everitt will be hosting our first Quick
Dinners from the Market demo of the season.  Anne will demonstrate how to make a simple and delicious
meal using market fresh ingredients.  Tastes and recipes will be available!
 
The Durham Farmers’ Market is located at 501 Foster Street
in the Pavilion at Durham Central Park.  The Market is an all local, producer only Market.  All items found at the Market are grown
or produced by the vendor and come from within 70 miles of Durham.  The Market is also open on Saturdays
from 8am to Noon.
