The information you were given is false.  One individual (that does not represent the organization as a whole) engaged in behavior which everyone condemned.  And Rev. Cousin addressed the matter on-the-spot.

Melissa, if you have questions about the Durham Committee, as with any other organization, how about contacting the Chair, not asking questions on a list serv.
